Dangerous Scenarios. . . Oh Yeah!

The e-mail I received yesterday was captioned "Dangerous Scenario" and you have to know that the pictures are just that...scenarios....some photographer having fun with us.  Now if I were on this roller coaster I would be screaming my head off and I wouldn't even know about the broken rail...by the time I did, I'd be long gone....
If this were a true scene that fellow wouldn't be so passive, he would be screaming bloody murder and his legs would be spinning like a top....what idiot would go climbing with a worn out rope.    Nah, this photographer was having too much fun.
Even this kid isn't stupid enough to dive into an empty pool.     My sense of humor is a far cry from this type of photography.   But some folks actually will think they are real shots.     Sad, but true.
This one would delight those who are not cat lovers, but it is pathetic.  Guess if there is justice in our world this little bundle of fun would be scratching and not the refrigerator....where is that photographer with the weird sense of humor.
A redeeming photograph taken on a lovely summer day out in the forest.    No, not one of us would be stupid enough to try and cross over the fallen tree....well, most of us wouldn't and this is not a trick photograph.

So today when you go out with your camera and spend you Saturday out in the open, look for some fun pictures to take.   We don't need fake anything to make our world a better place.    We need and want laughter created by pictures that bring out a belly laugh and make us feel good.   It is Art Walk Saturday here in Brookings and daughter Pat and I are going to a couple of galleries to see some real true pictures both in oils and photographs.  We have some real talent around and the musicians make it worth while as they entertain us,and a delicious tidbit to try isn't at all bad.

But, there is another side to our day today as the newspaper has the story of  Pat Stewart passing.  She owned the Book store and gallery for years and opened the doors for all of us to enjoy the local artisans and even put my books on sale.    We have missed seeing her since she had to retire this year and now we are saddened by her death.  A truly lovely lady and a friend to all of us.    So offer up a prayer, even if you did not have the pleasure of meeting her.   I guarantee you would have loved her.    So, my family and friends, take good care of YOU today and make your seconds memorable.   Hugs to all.
