Hugs

Group hugs are fun.
Hey, did I tell you about . . . this little guy sure seems to know what he wants to say.
This is the beginning of friend Jane's weaving project which will sit on my table this holiday season.  She is taking classes and enjoying all that she is learning about weaving.  Looks like a lot of hard work to me.  I like her choice of colors as it will go with anything.  She tells me it will be finished by mid September, a very ambitious project and I can hardly wait to see it.
Bob and Andrea did make it to Crazy Horse and tell me there has been a lot of changes since they were there some seventeen years ago.   No, Crazy Horse is not finished and probably will not be in our life time.   They tell me that now there are more buildings, a cost to get into the 'park' and new walkways up to the statue.    Last time I was there I remember one very small building with all kinds of mementos on sale, including a bin with small pieces of the mountain.   A lifetime labor of love which will be finished sometime in the future . . . I wonder when.

So today, Tuesday all day, get up and get outside and enjoy another summer day.  Half of the month of August is gone and soon we will be enjoying a change of season, Fall . . . um, what's not to like about Fall?  One of my favorite seasons.     Bob and Andrea are going to head for Rhode Island this fall, in time for the change of color and I hope for some gorgeous pictures from my old stomping grounds.     Meanwhile, you have seconds to use up today so don't waste them rushing around as they go fast enough.  Relax, 'smell the roses' and take yourself out for lunch.     MacDonald's, I hear, are working on healthier food . . .about time now that most of us have the Big Mac waist line.    I have to admit they tasted pretty good going down, after all where else could you take your children for a twenty-five cent hamburger with fries . . . the fanciest restaurant in town.  I wonder if I can talk my daughter Pat into a Big Mac today . . . I can try.    Find your smile and use it . . . Hugs to all.
