New Project

My new project is putting words to pictures taken from a moving car.    I thought to put the two together . . . pictures and words . . . and maybe make a new book, but I think instead, I will put a picture and words up in the 'blog' and see what comes out of it.  So today is the first picture taken on good old Highway 101 going north.

Time is of the essence
a stop will never do
it's time to take pictures
to savor a spectacular view.

Click when you are ready
the camera at your eye
aim out of a window and
catch a curve or two
swing to the right
and catch the ocean view
with rocks as big as castles
all shapes and sizes too

Hold steady, get ready for a dip
whatever the outcome
know you didn't miss

The camera is miraculous
with its telling eye
catching all the scenery
as we go whizzing by.


So today, if you are out and about, carry your camera with you.   If you are in a car driving along the highway take a shot and see what you can do.     I have taken dozens so be prepared for a peek at what I see from a moving car.    Can you believe it is Friday already, heading for a weekend which I hope will bring some smile along the way.    Don't let it go to waste . . . do something fun and make someone you love, like, tolerate, or even 'hate' a little and make them smile.    Enjoy the seconds as they go whizzing by.  Hugs to all.
